Site Manager - Social Housing Roofing Scheme, Nottingham
Location: Nottingham Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Temporary
Are you an experienced and proactive Site Manager with a proven track record in roofing projects? We are looking for a dedicated professional to lead a critical social housing roofing scheme in Nottingham.
About the Role: You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and successful delivery of a large-scale roofing scheme, ensuring all works are completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Overall management and coordination of the roofing project from start to finish.
Supervising and motivating the site team and sub-contractors.
Ensuring strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
Conducting regular site inspections and quality checks to meet project specifications.
Managing project documentation, including site diaries, progress reports, and RAMS.
Liaising with clients, , and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships.
Ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a Site Manager, specifically on roofing or social housing projects.
Essential Qualifications:
CSCS Card (Managers & Professionals)
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
First Aid at Work certification
Strong understanding of roofing systems and construction processes.
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive approach to ensuring safety and quality on site.
