Job Title: Site Manager (M&E Bias) Location: University of Cambridge, Cambridge Start Date: 20th April Duration: Until end of October Rate: £280–£300 per day (depending on experience) Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong M&E bias to oversee a modular construction project at the University of Cambridge. This project involves the installation of a 10-bay modular building, split into 5 bays of office space and 5 bays of laboratory space. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring the project runs safely, on schedule, and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily site operations and coordinate subcontractors Manage and supervise installation of modular units Ensure M&E works are delivered correctly and efficiently Maintain health & safety standards on site Liaise with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders Ensure works are completed in line with project timelines Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Manager on construction projects Strong M&E background (essential) Experience with modular or off-site construction is advantageous Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid preferred Strong organisational and communication skills What’s on Offer: Competitive daily rate (£280–£300) Long-term contract running April–October Opportunity to work on a specialist modular project at a prestigious site If you are interested or would like to discuss the role further, please apply or get in touch
