We do what we say…
…and we're looking for people who do the same.
Clancy is proud to be working in partnership with SSE on their ED2 framework across Central Scotland. Due to continued growth, we're now looking for an experienced Site Manager with High Voltage and/or Overhead Lines experience to join our team and help deliver critical infrastructure projects safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
The Role
Are you a driven Site Manager with a strong background in utilities or power projects? Do you thrive on taking ownership from start to finish and leading teams to deliver complex works safely and successfully?
If so, this could be an excellent next step in your career.
What you'll be doing:

Ensuring full compliance with CDM regulations and project requirements
Managing both self-delivered works and subcontracted packages
Leading site inductions and carrying out regular HSEQ inspections
Producing, reviewing and issuing RAMS and permits
Adapting generic ITPs to suit site-specific permanent works and closing out quality documentation
Raising material, labour and plant requisitions, including hire and off-hire
Maintaining accurate site diaries, tracking compensation events and reporting any cost or scope deviations
About You
We'd love to hear from you if you can demonstrate:
Experience working with a DNO such as SSEN, SPEN or UKPN with a strong understanding of substation projects and NEC3 contracts
Previous experience in a similar Site Manager role
Relevant qualifications including NRSWA Supervisor, SSSTS or SMSTS, and a health & safety qualification such as IOSH
Hands-on experience managing works such as trenching and deep excavations, RC works, duct installation, cable pulling, power and switchgear installation
Solid knowledge of NEC3, CDM compliance, RAMS production, programme and cost management, and plant/material procurement
A full, valid UK driving licence (travel between sites is required)
