Competitive Salary + PackageWe are currently working on behalf of a well-established civil engineering and groundworks contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to support the delivery of projects across the Oldham and Greater Manchester area.Our client has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality groundworks and civil engineering packages across residential and commercial developments, and due to continued growth they are looking to strengthen their site management team.The RoleAs Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.You will work closely with the Contracts Manager, engineers and subcontractors to coordinate activities on site and ensure smooth project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging site operations on groundworks and civil engineering projectsSupervising subcontractors and site teamsEnsuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specificationManaging health & safety compliance on siteLiaising with clients, engineers and internal project teamsCoordinating plant, materials and labourMonitoring progress and reporting to senior managementMaintaining site records and documentationRequirementsProven experience as a Site Manager within groundworks or civil engineeringStrong knowledge of residential or infrastructure groundworks packagesSMSTSCSCS CardFirst Aid (preferred)Strong organisational and leadership skillsAbility to manage multiple trades and subcontractors on siteThe OpportunityThis is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and growing contractor with a strong pipeline of work across the North West.
