Site Manager – Mezzanine Floor Installations (Industrial Projects) Gateshead Start: May 2026 Duration: Approx. 12 weeks
Buildforce Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager on behalf of our client, a specialist contractor in the design and installation of mezzanine flooring systems within large-scale industrial warehouse environments.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a fast-paced project with a well-established contractor delivering high-quality structural solutions across major distribution and logistics facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Overseeing day-to-day site operations on mezzanine floor installations
* Managing subcontractors and ensuring work is delivered safely and on schedule
* Coordinating with project teams, clients, and stakeholders
* Maintaining high standards of health & safety and site compliance
* Monitoring progress, quality, and reporting to senior management
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager within industrial or warehouse construction
* Strong background in structural steel or mezzanine floor installations (preferred)
* Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Ability to drive programmes and manage multiple trades effectively
