Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a CAT B commercial fit-out project at a prestigious location in central Manchester. The role is set to start on Friday, 8th August, with the duration to be confirmed based on project progression.
Key Responsibilities:
Day-to-day site management and coordination of subcontractors and trades
Ensuring works are delivered to programme, budget, and quality standards
Enforcing site health & safety compliance in line with CDM regulations
Liaising with project managers, clients, and consultants
Managing site documentation, inductions, and daily reports
Monitoring deliveries and materials
Reporting progress and issues to the project team
Requirements:
Proven experience managing CAT B fit-out projects
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
First Aid Certification
CSCS card
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and lead on-site operations
