Your new company
You will be working for a Tier 1 contractor operating within the highways and infrastructure sector, delivering major schemes across the region. The organisation has a strong pipeline of work and a proven track record of delivering complex civil engineering projects safely and efficiently.

Your new role
As a Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day‑to‑day management of highways works on a live project for a Tier 1 contractor.

  • Manage daily site operations across highways and civil engineering works
  • Coordinate subcontractors, labour and plant to meet programme requirements
  • Ensure all works are delivered in line with health, safety, environmental and quality standards
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, commercial teams and stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate site records, reports and documentation
  • Proactively identify and resolve site issues, escalating where required


What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within highways or civil engineering projects
  • Previous experience working for a Tier 1 contractor (desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of highways specifications and construction methodologies
  • Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple work fronts in a fast‑paced site environment
