Position: Site Manager - Roofing & Cladding\n Location: North West/Yorkshire \n Salary: Competitive + Expenses \n Sector: New Build - Commercial | Industrial | Retail | Healthcare\n Project Values: £100k - £3m\n\nAbout the Company\n\nAn excellent opportunity has arisen to join a leading roofing and cladding contractor, renowned for delivering high-quality new build projects across commercial, industrial, retail, and healthcare sectors. With a solid pipeline of upcoming work and projects across the UK, we are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our growing operations team.\n\nRole Overview\n\nAs a Site Manager, you will oversee the successful execution of roofing and cladding projects throuhout the North West/Yorkshire areas. You will be responsible for managing site activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.

This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge of flat roofing and cladding systems, and a proactive, solutions-driven approach.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSupervise and manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers\n\nCoordinate daily site operations and ensure project timelines are met\n\nAllocate tasks, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback\n\nMaintain H&S compliance in line with company procedures and industry regulations\n\nConduct regular site inspections and audits to uphold quality standards\n\nLiaise with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and coordination\n\nKeep accurate site records, including daily reports, progress updates, and material usage\n\nIdentify and resolve issues quickly to minimize disruption to project delivery\n\nEnsure all works are carried out to specification, quality, and health & safety standards\n\nRequirements\n\nProven experience in a Site Manager or similar supervisory role within the roofing and cladding sector\n\nStrong knowledge of flat roofing and cladding systems (essential)\n\nSMSTS or SSSTS certification\n\nValid CSCS card\n\nFirst Aid at Work certification\n\nExcellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills\n\nAbility to work under pressure and adapt to changing site conditions\n\nStrong understanding of site H&S and industry best practices\n\nFlexibility to travel and stay away from home as projects demand (all expenses and accommodation covered)\n\nWhat's on Offer\n\nOpportunity to work with a leading name in the roofing and cladding industry\n\nExposure to varied and high-profile new build projects across the UK\n\nCompetitive salary + Car/allow + expenses\n\nContact David at PPM Recruitment on (phone number removed) for more information
