Tailored Recruitment Partners are working with a growing business in Bradford to recruit a Site Operations Manager\n\nThe Job\n\nThe Site Operations Manager will take full responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and operational performance of a high-volume warehouse and production facility. The role oversees the warehouse and production lines, ensuring three key production lines run continuously and efficiently to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.\n\nThis position is accountable for site health & safety, operational planning, staffing, logistics coordination, and overall site management, reporting directly to the Managing Director.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nOperational Management\n\nOversee and optimise performance across warehouse production lines.\n\nEnsure three primary production lines run continuously with minimal downtime.\n\nDrive productivity, efficiency, and quality standards across all operations.\n\nMonitor KPIs including output, waste, downtime, labour efficiency, and OTIF (On-Time In-Full).\n\nImplement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.\n\nManage site capacity planning and workflow optimisation.\n\nHealth & Safety & Compliance\n\nTake full responsibility for site Health & Safety compliance.\n\nEnsure all operations comply with relevant legislation and company policies.\n\nConduct risk assessments and ensure safe systems of work are in place.\n\nLead accident investigations and implement corrective actions.\n\nPromote a strong safety-first culture across the site.\n\nPeople Management\n\nLead, motivate, and develop production and warehouse teams.\n\nCreate and manage staff rotas to ensure full coverage and operational efficiency.\n\nOversee recruitment, onboarding, and training of site personnel.\n\nManage performance, conduct reviews, and handle disciplinary processes where required.\n\nBuild a positive, accountable, high-performance team culture.\n\nLogistics & Supply Chain Coordination\n\nManage deliveries to and from site, ensuring timely receipt of materials and dispatch of finished goods.\n\nLiaise with suppliers, transport providers, and internal stakeholders.\n\nEnsure inventory accuracy and effective stock control processes.\n\nOversee warehouse layout and goods flow to maximise efficiency.\n\nReporting & Commercial Awareness\n\nProvide regular operational reports to the Managing Director.\n\nTrack site costs and identify opportunities to improve margins.\n\nContribute to budgeting and resource planning.\n\nSupport strategic planning and site growth initiatives.\n\nKey Skills & Experience\n\nProven experience in a senior operations or site management role within warehouse, production, or manufacturing environments.\n\nExperience managing multiple production lines in a fast-paced setting.\n\nStrong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics management.\n\nDemonstrable experience managing large teams.\n\nStrong working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.\n\nExperience with rota planning and workforce scheduling.\n\nBudget and cost control experience.\n\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making capability.\n\nExcellent communication and leadership skills
