Site Planner - Energy Outage Projects

Location: Devon - Contract: 6 Months+
Start: Preparation phase prior to the outage (scheduled to begin April)
Working Arrangement: Full-time on-site

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Planner to support an outage project at an energy facility in Devon.
This role is integral to both the preparation and delivery phases of the outage programme. The successful candidate will join during the lead-in period to develop and refine the project schedule, then support programme delivery throughout the outage.
Working closely with the facility operator and contractors on site, the Site Planner will coordinate activities, monitor progress, and help ensure the smooth delivery of mechanical and electrical installation works.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6
Support the preparation phase, including programme development and sequencing of works
Coordinate with site teams, contractors, and the wider project delivery team
Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect site performance
Identify potential risks and support mitigation planning
Provide regular planning updates and reports to stakeholders
Support the transition of planning responsibilities from the current project lead

Requirements

Strong experience using Oracle Primavera P6 (essential)
Proven experience as a Site Planner on construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects
Experience with MEP installation projects preferred
Previous site-based planning experience highly desirable
Ability to work full-time on site
