Site / Section Engineer – Civil Engineering Stowmarket, Suffolk £34.00 – £38.00 per hour 40 hours per week Start Date: 7th April 2026

We are currently recruiting for a Site / Section Engineer to join a major civil engineering project, this is an excellent opportunity to be involved in the early stages of a significant infrastructure project, with potential for long-term work.

Key Responsibilities:

Reviewing site plans and drawings

*

Setting out works including compounds and concrete bases

*

Supporting preliminary works on site

*

Assisting with supervision and coordination of site activities

*

Ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with project requirements

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Site/Section Engineer or Sub Agent on civil engineering projects

*

Experience in early-phase/preliminary works preferred

*

CSCS card required

*

SSSTS or SMSTS (ideal)

*

Strong understanding of setting out and site processes

The Role: Based on-site in Stowmarket, you will play a key role in delivering early works packages on a high-profile infrastructure scheme. This role offers the opportunity to progress into longer-term work on the project for the right candidate.
