Site Services Engineer Salary: £48,500 Location: Hull Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm
We are currently seeking a multi-skilled Site Services Engineer to join a busy and well-established food manufacturing site. This is a permanent, full-time role, ideal for an experienced engineer with a background in facilities or site services, looking to work in a day-based role with no weekend shifts. This position plays a vital role in supporting site operations by maintaining and repairing essential services, such as boilers, ammonia systems, air compressors, and effluent treatment equipment. The successful candidate will ensure that all systems remain fully operational in line with food safety, health and safety, and legal compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns across all site services and plant Maintain and monitor boilers, ammonia refrigeration systems, air compressors and water treatment systems Strip, clean and rebuild pumps and valves, including within the effluent house Carry out basic welding and pipework repairs Maintain accurate records for maintenance activities and spare part usage Ensure full compliance with health and safety and food hygiene standards Work closely with other departments and communicate engineering updates effectively Support cont...
