The Role

We are seeking an experienced Groundworks Site Supervisor to oversee daily site activities on the bridge project.

You will supervise groundworks gangs and subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with drawings and programme requirements. This role will require strong coordination skills, particularly around earthworks, drainage, foundations, and associated structural civils works.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate groundworks and civils activities

*

Manage direct labour and subcontract gangs

*

Ensure works are carried out safely and in compliance with RAMS

*

Conduct toolbox talks and daily briefings

*

Monitor quality and progress against programme

*

Liaise with Site Management and engineering teams

*

Maintain high standards of health & safety on a live infrastructure site

*

Assist with inspections and site reporting

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Groundworks Supervisor on civils or bridge projects

*

Strong understanding of drainage, foundations, and heavy civils works

*

SSSTS or SMSTS (Essential)

*

Valid CSCS card

*

First Aid at Work

*

Good communication and organisational skills
