Red Sector Recruitment is working with a busy small animal surgery in North East London to recruit an enthusiastic Full Time Veterinary Surgeon to join an established and dynamic team. This is a 24/7 emergency practice, offering a varied and rewarding caseload, with excellent career development opportunities.

The practice has a team of:

• 13 Veterinary Surgeons
• 12 RVNs
• 10 Student Nurses
• 10 Receptionists

Team members have diverse interests spanning medicine, soft tissue surgery, and orthopaedics. The practice supports ongoing learning with a generous CPD allowance and certificate-level training.

The facilities include:

• Two dedicated operating theatres
• Digital radiography and in-house laboratory
• Ultrasound, full endoscopy, and CT scan
• Modern, purpose-built premises

The ideal candidate will:

• Have at least 3 years’ UK veterinary experience, with significant internal medicine experience
• Be confident with occasional sole charge
• Be competent in routine surgical procedures
• Demonstrate excellent client communication, people skills, and teamwork
• Be flexible and passionate about practice life

Working hours:

• Full time across 4 weekdays
• Weekend rota: 1 in 6 full weekends and 1 in 6 Saturdays
• Part time considered for the right candidate
