We’re working with a well-established hire business in the Essex area who are looking to bring in an experienced Small Tools Fitter to join their depot team. This is a hands-on role focused on the service, maintenance and repair of a wide range of small plant and tools, with occasional site visits when required. The Role * Service, repair and maintain a variety of small tools and equipment * Work across electric (110v & 240v), petrol, diesel and 2-stroke machinery * Complete service and maintenance records accurately * Liaise directly with customers when required * Primarily depot-based, with occasional site breakdown attendance * Take part in training and development programmes What We’re Looking For * Proven experience working with small tools and plant equipment * Strong knowledge of electric, diesel, petrol and hydraulic systems * PAT Testing experience is essential * NVQ in Tool Maintenance (or equivalent) desirable * A methodical, problem-solving mindset * Good communication skills * Full UK driving licence What’s on Offer * Salary up to £35,000, dependent on experience * Clear progression opportunities within a growing business * Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:30pm * 25 days holiday + bank holidays * Company pension scheme
