The Smart Building Solutions Designer will sit at the centre of fully integrated smart building solutions, shaping how entire buildings operate, connect and perform. You won’t just price projects. You’ll design, influence and own the solution from concept through to delivery.

We're looking for someone who comes from a background in one (or more) of the following:
 

• Smart Buildings / BMS / MSI / Building Technology
• ICT / Network Infrastructure
• Electronic Security (CCTV, Access Control etc.)
• AV / Smart Workplace solutions

And has experience in:

• Pre-sales, estimating, tendering or pre-construction design
• Designing multi-technology building solutions
• Producing cost models and bid documentation
• Working within construction or large-scale project environments

What you’ll be doing

• Leading end-to-end smart building solution design across bid and pre-construction phases
• Owning opportunities from tender through to contract award and technical handover
• Producing high-quality technical and commercial proposals
• Designing across multiple technologies including:
• MSI / Smart Building Platforms
• IoT & Building Analytics
• Structured cabling (copper & fibre)
• Networks (LAN, WiFi, mobile, servers)
• Security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intercom)
• AV / Smart workplace tech
• Working closely with sales, delivery, and technical teams to shape winning bids
• Supporting client engagement including presentations, site surveys and solution walkthroughs

This is a front-end, commercially influential role, not just design in isolation.
