Mid-Level Smart Home Installer Location: Hertfordshire / London / Essex (On-Site)

We are a well-established, family-run smart home specialist delivering premium residential projects across Hertfordshire, London and Essex. With exciting new projects underway, we are looking for a confident, capable Mid-Level Smart Home Installer to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on, site-based role working on luxury homes — perfect for someone who takes pride in delivering clean, professional installations and wants to build a long-term career in the smart home industry.

Please note: Applicants must already be based in the UK with full right to work. This is a fully on-site role (no remote or hybrid working).

The Opportunity You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality smart home systems from first fix through to final handover. Your work will include:

First and second fix cabling on high-end residential projects Installing Control4 controllers, touchscreens and keypads Installing Lutron keypads and lighting modules Professional TV and audio installations with meticulous cable management Rack building, wiring and clear labelling WiFi systems and home networking installations Fault finding, servicing and system upgrades Running smaller projects independently once familiar with our standards Using an AV laptop on-site for system checks, updates and coordination You won’t be responsible for programming Control4 or Lutron systems, but you should be confident using a laptop for system checks, updates and basic configuration tasks.

Who We’re Looking For We want someone who is technically capable, reliable and takes pride in their workmanship. Ideally, you will have:

Experience installing Control4 and/or Lutron systems Strong AV installation skills A solid understanding of structured cabling and basic networking Confidence using laptops on-site A clean, tidy and highly professional approach to work Strong attention to detail The ability to work independently once trained Good communication skills and a positive attitude Confidence working in high-end residential properties A full UK driving licence Why Join Us?
