Our client is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic SME New Business Account Handler to join their growing team. Reporting into our Maidstone office on a hybrid basis, you’ll be responsible for handling new business enquiries from SME clients, building strong relationships, and ensuring their insurance needs are met with tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Manage incoming SME new business enquiries from first contact to policy inception. Provide clear, professional advice to clients on commercial insurance products. Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals. Liaise with insurers to negotiate competitive terms and secure the best outcomes for clients. Ensure all activities comply with FCA and company guidelines. The Person: Minimum 12 months’ experience in commercial insurance (SME or similar). Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
