SMT Operator Stevenage, Hertfordshire (SG1) £25,676 £32,000 per annum Pin Point Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced SMT Operator to join a well-established and growing electronics manufacturing business based in Stevenage. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern production environment operating advanced SMT machinery. Working within the Surface Mount Technology (SMT) department and reporting to the SMT Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring SMT production lines run efficiently and in line with daily production schedules. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor SMT production lines, ensuring smooth and efficient performance Set up and run pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and solder paste equipment Perform visual inspection of components and completed boards to IPC-A-610 standards Identify and report quality issues from inspection, AOI, or testing processes Install and check electronic components including resistors, capacitors, diodes, and transistors Carry out hand placement of components where required Conduct routine maintenance on SMT equipment to ensure optimal...
