Job Title: Social Worker - Children's Services
Location: Lancashire County Council
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
Pay Rate: Up to £36.00 per hour (Umbrella)

✨ About the Role:
Lancashire County Council is looking for an experienced and passionate Children's Social Worker to join their Children's Services team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children, adolescents, and families

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out assessments, planning, and interventions to safeguard children and adolescents ️

Manage a caseload in line with statutory requirements and best practice

Work closely with families and multi-agency professionals

Complete high-quality reports and maintain accurate case records ️

Attend meetings, reviews, and court work where required ⚖️

Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker with a recognised Social Work qualification

Registered with Social Work England ✅

Previous experience within Children's Services

Strong understanding of relevant legislation and procedures

Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

Contribute to team performance and support induction of new colleaguesWhat happens now?
