What you will do:

• Provide high-quality assessment and care management for children and families needing ongoing social services intervention.
• Conduct assessments in line with Directorate policies and relevant frameworks like Working Together to Safeguard Children.
• Collaborate to develop effective, outcome-focused intervention plans with children, young people, and their parents or carers to safeguard welfare and address risks.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records as per Directorate policy.
• Review interventions within statutory timescales to ensure plans are achieving set outcomes.
• Highlight unmet needs identified from assessments to managers within Children's Services.
• Ensure administrative processes for data collection are completed on time.
• Demonstrate professional competence in social work practice.
• Attend training programs to enhance skills and support personal development.
• Participate in departmental meetings, providing necessary reports.
• Work in conjunction with staff from other Directorates and agencies.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, Directorate's policies, and procedures.
