The charity has several charitable funds which provide financial support to people and families across the Greater Glasgow area. Due to increasing demand upon our funds, we now require a qualified Social Worker to assist our current Social Worker with social work assessments for financial support from the charitable funds. The candidate will be a qualified Social Worker who can work flexible working hours required for a part-time position (21 Hours). Own transport necessary. Computer knowledge required. Hours would be as required, could involve some early morning or evening work. You could be working with people to find solutions to their problems and sign positing them to relevant agencies. You may require to contact relevant agencies to protect vulnerable people from harm or abuse. xcunqrw This position covers working with persons of all ages, abilities, nationalities, their families and support workers. This position would involve individual working Visiting clients wherever they are (which could be at home or in, for example, a care home, hospital, supported accommodation) Assessing clients' needs Organising support where necessary Making referrals to other services and agencies Keeping detailed records Attending meetings
