An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Womenswear Soft Wovens Designer to join a highly established and reputable fashion supplier. This is a fantastic role for a creative and commercially minded designer looking to take the next step in their career within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will be working across key accounts with major retailers and supermarkets, playing a pivotal role in driving the development of soft wovens ranges. The ideal candidate will combine a strong eye for trend with a commercial mindset and a proactive, can-do attitude.

Main Responsibilities Will Include:

• Design and develop commercially viable womenswear soft wovens ranges tailored to a portfolio of key customers
• Translate buyer briefs into on-trend, forward-thinking designs that align with brand handwriting and customer needs
• Conduct ongoing trend research, including social media, influencers, and lifestyle movements, to inform product direction
• Collaborate closely with the fabric team to drive seasonal direction, innovation, and fabric development
• Work cross-functionally with sales, production, and technical teams to ensure smooth product development
• Build strong relationships with retail buyers and contribute to customer meetings and presentations
• Create professional design boards and CADs to effectively communicate concepts and ranges

Person Specification:

• Previous experience in womenswear soft wovens within a commercial supplier or high street environment
• Strong understanding of current high street trends, with the ability to anticipate future direction
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a positive, can-do attitude
• Creative, innovative, and confident in contributing new ideas
