Software Development Engineer in Test with strong experience in Data Testing of financial products required for a prestigious financial service client in London.

The role will involve working on a big Transformation Programme, and suited candidates will have the following hands-on experience;

• C#, Python, JavaScript/Typescript, SQL and test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Specflow, Agile and TDD.
• Strong data testing knowledge in SQL, Snowflake or Databricks.
• Strong Azure DevOps, Azure, Git, and SQL.
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence. Proven track record of writing, executing, and maintaining complex test scripts.
• Demonstrated ability to lead testing efforts and mentor junior team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on consensus-building and collaboration.
• Strong Microsoft Skills, including PowerPoint & Excel; understand and document Process Maps using tools such as Visio.

The ideal candidate will have recently completed a similar Software Development Engineer in Test role for another Asset Manager, will have a passion for delivering innovative technical solutions and will have a broad knowledge of Asset Management, including Equities, Cash, Fixed Income and complex Swap instruments. Specific Aladdin or Charles River experience is highly desirable.
