Software Engineer- London (Hybrid)


A global, purpose-driven technology group is hiring a Software Engineer to support large-scale digital transformation across a diverse portfolio of innovative businesses. This Software Engineer role sits within a central Digital Solutions team and offers the chance to work with cloud, AI and emerging technologies to build scalable, real-world solutions.


As Software Engineer, you’ll design and prototype modern platforms, influence engineering best practice, and create reusable technical assets. This Software Engineer opportunity is ideal for ambitious engineers who want exposure to cloud services, Generative AI, VR/AR and edge technologies in a highly collaborative environment.


What you’ll be doing as a Software Engineer:

• Designing and developing cloud-native solutions and POCs

• Working with modern cloud services, APIs and microservices

• Supporting CI/CD, DevOps and automated testing practices

• Building reusable templates, reference architectures and playbooks


What they’re looking for in a Software Engineer:

• 5+ years’ experience in cloud-native development (Azure preferred)

• Strong software engineering background (C# and/or Python)

• Experience with REST APIs, event-driven architecture and microservices

• CI/CD, Git and modern testing practices

• Strong stakeholder and communication skills


Location: London (Hybrid) with travel to UK and international sites as required.
