⚡ Mid-Level Backend Engineer - Remote (2 days per month) / London - Up to £60,000 p/y ⚡

We're currently looking for a mid-level Backend Engineer to join our client, a tech-enabled security services company protecting some of the UK's most iconic properties (Harrods, luxury car dealerships, high-end retail estates).

They're in the midst of upgrading their flagship product, a 24/7 mission-critical platform supporting national infrastructure, which means proper engineering challenges and real-world impact.

️ Tech stack :

• Python, Kotlin/Java Terraform, AWS
• Bonus if you have any experience with Node or Typescript/JavaScript
• Kotlin experience not needed here, but will offer the opportunity for you to learn it on the job!

What you'll be doing:

• Breaking down legacy monolith into an event-driven microservices architecture so they can scale without single point of failure risk
• Creating new services to support their growing product family across existing and new markets
• Building AI automation to make life easier for your users
