Software Test Engineer (Outside ir35)

My client is looking for 4 software test engineers initially to work on a 6 months rolling contract for an automotive company working on electrical EV in wheel motor technology products. The role will be outside ir35 working mostly onsite in Farnham Surrey with the possibility of 1 day WFH maybe 2 days if the tasks allow it.
Ideally you will need to have an automotive background as a software test engineer in HIL Hardware in Loop systems. The skills sets of what the client is looking for are below.
Essential:
Engineering or technical degree.
Substantial experience in an automotive or comparable high technology industry.
Detailed knowledge of designing and implementing models using MATLAB and Simulink.
Detailed knowledge of implementing test cases using scripting languages (Python) and automation tools.
Knowledge of communication buses commonly used in the automotive industry.
Good understanding of digital and analogue electronic circuit theory.
Experience of validation and testing to automotive requirements.
Experienced in software test case development.
Desirable:
Competent in software lifecycle toolsets.
Familiarity with ISO 26262 or similar safety standards.
Knowledge of electrical machine theory and motor control techniques.
Knowledge of mathematical, statistical and data analysis techniques.
Experienced in embedded software and control system development.
