Solar PV Electrician – Permanent Role
£48,000 + Bonuses
Coverage Areas: IP / CO / CM / CB / PE
The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Solar PV Electrician to join our growing team on a permanent basis. This is a field-based role covering East Anglia and surrounding regions (IP, CO, CM, CB, PE), working on domestic and commercial renewable energy installations.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out all electrical works associated with Solar PV installations
* Install, wire, and commission inverters and battery storage systems
* Perform testing, inspection, and certification of completed systems
* Diagnose and rectify electrical faults
* Ensure all work complies with current regulations (BS 7671)
* Work closely with installation teams to ensure efficient project delivery
* Maintain high standards of health & safety on all sites
Requirements
* Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
* Experience with Solar PV and/or battery storage systems (preferred)
* Testing & Inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent – desirable)
* ECS / CSCS Card
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
