Job Description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a solar company who are looking for a Site Manager for their upcoming ground mount solar farm in the Luton area.\n\nThis would be a 6-7 month contract starting in early February. They are ideally looking for an experienced Site Manager who has good experience within the solar sector.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nManage day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance.\nCoordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to meet project timelines.\nMonitor progress, resolve issues, and report to the Project Manager.\nEnsure adherence to health & safety regulations and environmental standards.\nOversee site logistics, including deliveries, storage, and equipment management.\nConduct regular site inspections and quality checks.\nMaintain accurate records of work completed, incidents, and compliance documentation.\nLiaise with stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and local authorities.\nManage site budgets and control costs effectively.\nDrive continuous improvement and ensure best practices are implemented.Requirements:\n\nSMSTS\n3-day First Aid\nBlack/Gold CSCS card\nRight to Work in the UK\nGood experience working on solar projects in a Site Managerial positionThe client are looking to move quickly on this role, so if you are interested and believe you would be suitable, please apply ASAP.\n\nPlease click to find out more about our Key Information Documents.
