Job Description
Sole Payroll Manager
- Manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.
- Oversee payroll reporting and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile payroll accounts.
- Address employee payroll queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Implement and maintain payroll system updates and improvements.
- Provide guidance and support to junior payroll staff.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Sole Payroll Manager should have:
- A strong background in payroll management within a professional setting.
- Solid understanding of accounting and finance principles.
- Proficiency in payroll software and systems - Excel competent
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of current payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Comfortable operating within a sole payroll position
- Happy to commute to numerous sites within the West London area (Hayes)
