We are working with a prominent national law firm based in Basingstoke for an Associate to join their Court of Protection team.

The Role:

The successful candidate will join a growing Court of Protection team, acting on both deputyships and personal injury trusts. You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of clients’ financial affairs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, while also preparing Court of Protection applications.

The role will also involve assisting on more complex financial and welfare-related issues, including care funding, benefits and capacity-related matters.

Essential Criteria:

• 0-4 years’ PQE;
• Court of Protection experience;
• Empathetic attitude;
• Strong academic background;
• Willingness to attend business development events;
• Client-focused;
• Technically excellent;
• Strong communication skills;
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
