Join our leading Clinical Negligence team as a Solicitor (Grade A/B). We are seeking an experienced lawyer to handle complex cases with a high degree of autonomy, delivering proactive and commercially focused outcomes while maintaining strong client, medical expert, and stakeholder relationships.

Main Responsibilities
Accountable for providing support, guidance and assistance to the team to deliver outstanding service to customers
Proactive and commercial case management and progression
Supporting the Team Leader in ensuring the delivery of the team’s financial performance KPIs
Effective and thorough time recording
Responsible For
Discussing and agreeing case tactics and planning with the Team Leader and team members
Identifying cases ready for LOC, settlement and service within the team
Co-ordinating the collection and collation of information to enable case progression
Management of a caseload in a proactive commercial manner
Co-ordinating progression of cases with internal and external parties
Drafting of legal documentation including LOC and letters of instruction
Negotiating settlement and issuing/serving proceedings as required
Overseeing documentation and correspondence produced by the team
Advising the team on technical issues arising from cases
Essential Skills And Experience
Recent experience of handling a caseload
8+ years PQE or equivalent experience in Clinical Negligence
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication and drafting skills
Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Proclaim and Excel
Excellent attention to detail
Strong commercial awareness within a legal environment
Ability to work well with junior team members, providing coaching and mentoring
Flexible and committed to achieving results and meeting deadlines
Excellent client care skills
