Solution Architect Lead/Manager\n\n·Start date - 26/01/2026\n\n·End date - 26/07/2026\n\n·Base site - once/twice a week is Stevenage in Hertfordshire (essential)\n\nInside IR35 - £750 per day paid through an umbrella\n\nRole Summary:\n\nSeeking an experienced and dynamic Solution Architect Manager to lead our team of solution architects in designing and delivering innovative technology solutions that align with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, deep technical expertise, and a proven ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nLead, mentor, and manage a team of solution architects, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.\nWork closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective, scalable technology solutions.\nOversee the architectural design and integration of complex systems across multiple projects and business units.\nEnsure that solutions are aligned with strategic goals, technology standards, and best practices.\nParticipate in the development and review of technical architectures, ensuring quality, security, and performance.\nProvide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to deployment and support.\nContribute to the creation and maintenance of architectural frameworks, standards, and guidelines.\nEvaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and methodologies to drive innovation and efficiency.\nFacilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment.\nSupport resource planning, budgeting, and capacity management for the solution architecture team. \n\nQualifications:\n\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.\n10+ years of experience in solution architecture, including at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.\nStrong knowledge of architecture frameworks and solution design methodologies.\nExtensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure ), micro-services, and API management.\nProven ability to manage and deliver multiple complex projects simultaneously.\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.\nRelevant certifications (e.g Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.\nSalesforce experience highly advantageous\nOracle Fusion experience desirable \n\nKey Competencies:\n\nLeadership and team development\nStrategic thinking and business acumen\nTechnical depth and a passion for technology trends\nAbility to influence and build consensus across diverse teams\nCustomer-centric mindset \n\nPlease note you will receive an automated response advising you that we have received your CV.\n\nMorgan Philips Group is a global talent solutions business that disrupts conventional thinking in executive search, recruitment and talent consulting.
