Job Description

A Tier-1 Banking client is seeking a Solution Architect to design and deliver scalable, cloud-first solutions to complex business problems. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, shaping technology direction and ensuring solutions balance innovation, risk, and business value.

What you’ll do

Architect modern, cloud- solutions using AWS, serverless, and containerisation. Create high-quality design artefacts for governance, security, and delivery teams. Lead on API design, integration patterns, and solution consistency across platforms. Troubleshoot performance issues and support operational teams.

What you’ll bring

Strong experience architecting distributed systems. Hands-on expertise in AWS and solid engineering knowledge with Java, ideally from an engineering background. Excellent communication and stakeholder influence skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.

This role is Hybrid with 2 days a week in their office in Knutsford.
