Role Description
We are looking for a Sourdough Bread Baker to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site night shift role , with working hours starting around 1:002:00 AM , including weekends .
You will be responsible for producing high-quality sourdough breads from start to finish, including mixing, fermenting, shaping, and baking. This is a hands-on role where you will also support other areas of the bakery as needed there is always something to do, not just sourdough.
Key Responsibilities
Mixing, fermenting, and shaping sourdough breads
Managing overnight production schedules
Baking using deck ovens and monitoring quality
Supporting production of other bakery items when required
Maintaining high standards of consistency and presentation
Keeping the bakery clean and organised
Requirements
Experience in sourdough or artisan bread baking preferred
Any additional bakery or pastry knowledge is a strong advantage
Flexible attitude and willingness to support different tasks
Ability to work night shifts (starting 12 AM) and weekends
Strong attention to detail and time management
Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented

£30,000 £35,000 per year (depending on experience)
