This is a senior kitchen leadership role supporting the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef in overseeing kitchen operations and inspiring the team to reach and maintain excellent culinary standards. Youll bring creative flair and rosette-level cooking expertise to both day-to-day college service and bespoke internal functions, including conferences and large-scale events. Your key responsibilities will include: Leading daily food preparation and cooking to a consistently exceptional standard Supporting and coordinating kitchen operations in collaboration with the Head Chef Motivating the team and fostering creativity within the kitchen Maintaining impeccable standards in hygiene, food safety, and health & safety compliance Assisting with menu development, stock control, ordering, and allergen procedures Ensuring seamless communication across catering teams and service departments Were looking for someone with: Extensive experience at Sous Chef level or above in a professional kitchen Proven culinary and leadership skills, with solid attention to detail Excellent communication and organisational abilities Flexibility, reliability, and commitment to maintaining high standards This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours/week), working 5 days out of 7 on a flexible rota.
