About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Sous Chef to join our contract catering team in Fordingbridge. This is a term-time only position, offering great work-life balance while still providing full-time hours. You'll support the Head Chef in delivering fresh, high-quality meals in a friendly, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in line with menu requirements
Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
Assist with ordering, stock rotation, and basic administrative tasks
Contribute to a positive, team-focused working environment

Working Hours

Monday: 7:00am - 3:00pm
Tuesday: 7:00am - 3:00pm
Thursday: 7:00am - 3:00pm
Friday: 10:00am - 7:00pm
Saturday: 7:00am - 7:00pm
Wednesdays & Sundays: OFF

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie ready to step up
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced catering environment
Strong understanding of food safety and allergen management
A team player with a great attitude and high standards
