The Venue Were looking for an experienced Sous Chef for our client's 1-Rosette Boutique Hotel & Restaurant, set against the stunning backdrop of the Lothians seascape.
The Role Key Responsibilities: Oversee the preparation and presentation of all food items to the highest standard in the Head Chef's absence. Assist in leading, training, and developing a motivated and skilled kitchen team. Design and deliver seasonal menus that celebrate fresh, local ingredients. Ensure all health & safety, hygiene, and food safety standards are met. Manage kitchen stock levels and supplier relationships effectively. Work collaboratively with FOH to deliver a seamless guest experience.
The Person Proven experience as a Junior Sous Chef or above in a similar environment. 1 Rosette standard experience as a minimum is preferred. Proven leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Creative, passionate, and committed to delivering high-quality, honest food. Flexibility to work across various shifts including weekends and holidays.
