A standout opportunity has arisen for a Sous Chef to join one of London's most exciting and progressive contract catering operations, delivering high-end retail dining and vibrant, world-inspired food concepts within a prestigious corporate environment.
This is not your typical B&I role. The site is known for its fast-paced, high-volume retail offer, featuring multiple street food concepts, globally influenced menus, and restaurant-quality staff dining that genuinely rivals the high street.
The Concept
You'll be working in a dynamic kitchen that blends premium corporate dining with bold, international flavours - from rotating street food concepts and live cooking stations to high-end hospitality and fine dining.
The business is built around creativity, food trends, and quality produce, with chefs encouraged to bring ideas, influence menus, and push standards.
The Role
As Sous Chef, you'll work closely with the Head Chef to lead a busy, retail-led kitchen delivering fresh, seasonal, and globally inspired food at volume.
This role would suit:
A Sous Chef from a high-end contract catering background with strong retail experience, or
A chef from restaurants or hospitality with a passion for international cuisine and high-volume service
You'll play a key role in maintaining standards, driving food quality, and contributing to the ever-evolving food offer.
What You'll Be Doing
Supporting the Head Chef in leading a high-volume, multi-offer retail kitchen
Delivering street food and world cuisine concepts with creativity and consistency
Helping to design and execute seasonal, trend-led menus
Leading and developing a team in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Ensuring exceptional standards across food quality, presentation, and service
Supporting GP control, stock management, and waste reduction
Driving innovation
What We're Looking For
Experience as a Sous Chef (or strong Junior Sous ready to step up)
Background in contract catering retail or fresh food kitchens with global cuisine exposure
A genuine passion for international flavours, street food, and modern food trends
Comfortable working in a busy, high-volume environment
A hands-on leader who enjoys developing teams and driving standards
Strong organisational skills and good commercial awareness
