Sous Chef

to join our team in

London .

Rate of pay:

£35,000 per annum

Working pattern:

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week - (7am - 3pm)

Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support two Chef de Parties and two Kitchen Porters, working closely with the Head Chef.

Help run the daily kitchen operation, serving up to 200 covers per day.

Monitor stock levels, order ingredients, and manage inventory to minimise waste.

Support the Head Chef with menu planning and preparation for a busy catering environment.

Oversee daily food preparation, ensuring quality, consistency, and presentation.

Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining high standards.

Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and fully compliant with health and safety standards.

Assist with new menu ideas and dishes.

Support food cost control and kitchen budgets.

What we are looking for: Experience within restaurant and Hospitality A passion for creating innovative and high-quality food Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment A proactive and team-focused approach Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with colleagues and stakeholders
