As a Sous Chef , you will be second in command in the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management, service delivery, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities Support the Head Chef in the overall running of the kitchen. Lead service and ensure consistency and quality across all dishes. Supervise, train, and develop junior members of the brigade. Assist with menu development, costing, and seasonal planning. Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and compliance. Manage stock control, ordering, and minimise wastage. Step in to run the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef. Key Requirements Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef ready to step up. Proven leadership ability within a busy kitchen environment. Strong organisational and communication skills. Passion for fresh, high-quality food and attention to detail. Good understanding of kitchen financials and cost control.
