Sous Chef required for a high-level production kitchen in West London. £45,000–£70,000.

Smyth & Co are delighted to be partnering with one of West London’s most prestigious culinary operations to find an exceptional Sous Chef for their high-level production kitchen.

This is a rare opportunity to join a high-performance team serving an exclusive luxury clientele, where precision, artistry, and consistency are non-negotiable. The kitchen runs 24 hours a day, offering flexible shifts and generous time-and-a-half pay for overnight work.

The Role:

  • Salary: £45,000 – £70,000 DOE
  • West London location
  • Flexible shifts with overnight premiums (up to 1.5x base rate)
  • One hour paid break
  • Work alongside some of the UK’s most talented chefs in a high-performance environment
  • Support the Head Chef in managing a high-volume, high-standard kitchen operation


Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a high-level kitchen is essential (Michelin or Rosette background highly desirable)
  • Ability to work night shifts as required
  • Must be able to start immediately
  • A proven ability to maintain impeccable standards under pressure
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • A passion for exceptional produce and flawless execution
  • Availability to start immediately (candidates with long notice periods will not be considered)
