Job Title: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) Location: Potters Bar Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time (term-time only) Rate of Pay - £90-£110 (Depending on experience) Start Date: ASAP / By agreement About the Role We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join a supportive school based in Hertfordshire. The successful candidate will work closely with pupils who have additional learning needs, helping them to access the curriculum, develop independence, and reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities Provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs, either one-to-one or in small groups Support pupils with a range of needs, which may include ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing Adapt learning materials and activities to meet individual needs Support personal care where required, in line with school policies Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals The Ideal Candidate Will Have Experience working with children or young peopl...
