SEND Teaching Assistant - Rochdale

Full-Time | Immediate Start | Contract Until July 2026 | £90-£110 per day

Here at Aspire People, we are excited to be working with a welcoming and inclusive school in Rochdale who are seeking a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

This role is available to start immediately and will run through until July 2026, offering stability and the opportunity to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.

About the Role:
* Provide tailored 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs in a mainstream classroom
* Assist in delivering personalised learning plans
* Support students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH or communication needs
* Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the wider SEND team

We're Looking For Someone Who:
* Has experience supporting children with SEND in a school setting
* Is calm, patient and resilient
* Can adapt learning approaches to suit individual needs
* Builds positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
* Holds an enhanced DBS on the update service (or is happy to obtain one)
