Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant (Year 4)Location: Notting Hill, London
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our supportive primary school community in Notting Hill, working with a child in Year 4.
The successful candidate will provide tailored support to help the pupil access learning, develop confidence, and thrive both academically and socially. This is a rewarding role for someone who is patient, proactive, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and/or small group support for a pupil with SEN in Year 4
Support learning activities under the direction of the class teacher and SENCo
Implement strategies and interventions to support academic and emotional development
Encourage independence, engagement, and positive behaviour
Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
Support the pupil's inclusion within the classroom and wider school life
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience supporting children with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, or SEMH)
A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for working with children
Relevant training or qualifications (desirable but not essential)
