Speech and Language Teaching Assistant

Location: MiddlesbroughContract: Temporary, Full-Time (5 days a week)Start Date: ASAPPay: £95-£115 per day

What you'll do:

• Support pupils with speech, language, and communication challenges
• Use communication tools such as Makaton and PECS to aid learning and interaction
• Work closely with teachers and speech therapists to implement tailored support plans
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

What we're looking for:

• Experience or interest in supporting children with communication needs
• Knowledge of Makaton, PECS, or willingness to learn
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to a full-time, permanent role starting in September
