We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to support a London Local Authority with statutory Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) assessments. This role involves completing specialist speech, language and communication assessments as part of the Education, Health and Care Needs Assessment (EHCNA) process.

You will provide high‑quality, evidence‑based recommendations to support children and young people's communication, interaction, speech, and language development, contributing to legally compliant, outcome‑focused EHCPs. The post requires close collaboration with schools, families, and multi‑disciplinary teams to ensure integrated and child‑centred provision.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct paediatric speech and language therapy assessments for children and young people undergoing statutory EHCNAs. Produce clear, outcome‑focused reports and recommendations for inclusion in EHCPs. Work collaboratively with schools, parents/carers, and Local Authority professionals. Support annual reviews and contribute to ongoing EHCP processes where required.
