Speech and Language Therapist (Consultancy / Flexible)

Location: South Croydon

Competitive hourly / sessional rate (depending on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Speech and Language Therapist to work with us on a consultancy or flexible basis. This role is ideal for therapists looking to supplement their current work, return to practice with flexible hours, or take on additional consultancy sessions.

You will support children and/or adults with speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs through assessment, therapy, and professional guidance.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments.
Develop and implement tailored therapy programmes.
Provide therapy sessions and monitor progress.
Work collaboratively with families, carers, teachers, and other professionals.
Provide advice, strategies, and training where appropriate.
Maintain accurate clinical records and reports.

Requirements

Degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent qualification.
Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) is desirable.
Experience working with individuals with speech, language, and communication needs.
Ability to work independently and manage flexible caseloads.
