Job Title: Speech & Language Therapist - Neuro-rehab

Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum (DOE)

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours) or part-time considered (minimum 3 days)

Qualifications: HCPC Registered Speech and Language Therapist + Dysphagia Competency

Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with a specialist provider of neurological rehabilitation and complex care. We're supporting the recruitment of a Speech & Language Therapist for a highly respected, purpose-built neurological centre in Peterborough.

You’ll join a stable and experienced multidisciplinary team supporting adults with acquired brain injuries, progressive neurological disorders, Huntington’s, stroke, and TBI. The provider is well regarded for clinical quality, internal development, and continuity of care and a recent “Good” CQC rating.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of residents with complex communication and swallowing disorders
• Conduct specialist speech, language, cognitive communication, and dysphagia assessments
• Deliver individualised treatment plans and contribute to service development
• Collaborate with a well-established MDT (SLTs, OTs, Physios, Psychologists, Nursing & Medical)
• Provide support to junior staff or therapy assistants
• Participate in audits, governance, and continuous quality improvement

Candidate Requirements:

Essential:

• HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist
• Dysphagia competent
• Experience working with Adults
• Strong MDT communication and team collaboration skills

Desirable:

• Experience working in neurology, neurorehabilitation, or complex care setting
• Knowledge of AAC or specialist communication aids
