OverviewAs a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial and Investment Bank, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.ResponsibilitiesExecutes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problemsCreates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systemsDevelop and maintain high-quality user interfaces for web applications using JavaScript and modern JavaScript frameworks, with a preference for React/AngularWrite clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standardsConduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers to foster a culture of continuous improvementStay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain at the forefront of innovationTroubleshoot and resolve front-end issues and bugs in a timely mannerDevelop and maintain OMS solutions using Java 17+Collaborate with team members to deliver robust, scalable softwareTroubleshoot and resolve technical issuesParticipate in code reviews and deploymentQualificationsRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, And SkillsFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and proficient advanced experienceExpert in Java (17 or above)Strong understanding of OOP, data structures, algorithms, and Java garbage collection (GC)Experience with multi-threaded and distributed systemsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And SkillsExperience with OMS platformsKnowledge of KDBFamiliarity with AI/ML conceptsExperience with AWSBenefitsABOUT USJ.P.
